PARADISE LIES UNDER THE FEET OF MOTHER SPEECH

Image
Allah is pleased when the mother is pleased Allah is displeased when the mother is displeased. I know a face, a lovely face  So full of beauty, as of grace  A face that cam compare no other  That face belongs to my mother! Mr. President and dear audience, mother is mother in whose lap we are born and no other love can take its place. Every hearth is filled with longing and passion for mother. Indeed, mother is a precious gift by Nature. We can earn paradise by serving out mother throughout her life. Islam hs the great esteem, honor and respect for mothers while thy father and thy mother without any discrimination. The Bible does not mention the mother separately fit to be the worthy of respect. In contrast, the Holy Quran gives supreme significance to the mother as she carries and nourishes her unborn baby for nine long months in her belly and shares a deep attachment with her. When she gives birth to a baby, is hers-totally and completely hers in a uni...

Hajj is a symbolic expression of man's full surrender before his Lord. Mr. President and worthy audience, the word "Hajj" means worshiping Allah by performing the Hajj rituals which are defined as specific acts performed at a specific time and place in a specific way. Performing Hajj is an obligation once in a lifetime upon every Muslim. The indigent and the sick or disabled are excused. Allah, the Almighty, says: وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ - 3:97 "Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah' those who can afford the journey: But if anyone denies faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures." Allah made Hajj an obligation to the Muslims in the ninth year after Hijrah. The Prophet ("Peace Be Upon Him") performed only the farewell Hajj. A DAY OF FESTIVITY SPEECH

Image
A day of festivity (Eid-ul-Fitre) is an expression of unceasing feelings well up inside the believer's hearth for his Lord. Mr. President and worthy audience, we are all aware that Eid is the most memorable day of the year, and it is celebrated at the end of the holy month of Ramadan by the Muslim community with due reverence and great pomp and show. Eid-ul-Fitre means breaking of fast, in Arabic is the day of praying, donating to the deserving donees, feasting and rejoicing. Eid is derived from the Arabic word 'oud' or the return to signify rightly the return of Eid for the year to come. Fitre means to sacrifice for the welfare of the poor, the needy and those who are leading a humdrum sort of existence. We must be generous in helping the grieved people in order to receive its reward of mercy from Almighty Allah on the Day of Judgement. Sir, on the eve of Eid, all the markets stay open late at night and early hours of the morning to cater to people's need...

Ramadan, a form of divine worship, awakens in man the feelings of gratitude to God. Mr. President and worthy audience, Ramadan is the ninth lunar month of the Islamic calendar and very auspicious to the Muslims all over the world. Our Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) used to start fasting during the month of Sha'baan-ul-Moazzam so as to make preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. During this month, the Muslims are ordained to observe fast for thirty days (sometimes 29 days, owing to the early sighting of the crescent). It is customary to break the fast with a sip of water, dates or some other fruits. The Holy Book of Muslims, Qur'an was revealed during this month. Our Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was chosen as Messenger to compile the Holy Book. The last ten days of Ramadan i.e. the nights preceding the 21st, 23rd, 25th , 27th and 29th are specially significant as the faithful watch for Laila-Tur-Qadar (The night of value), during which the revelation of t...

PROPHET-HOOD SPEECH

Image
Prophet-hood is dependent not on inspiration but on divine revelation . Mr. President and worthy audience, when a machine is introduced it is accompanied by a set of instructions for its use. An engineer is also commissioned to give a practical demonstration of how the machine functions. Similarly, a man soon after his birth was not aware how he should live on the earth. To satisfy this need felt by man, God sent His Prophets to the world, everyone of whom brought with Him the word of God. Mr. President, God's messengers came in every age and in every region. According to a Hadith , more than one hundred thousands messengers were sent to guide the people. However, the Prophets mentioned by name in the Holy Qur'an are two dozen in number, the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) being the last of them. In the past, the need for new Prophets had always arisen because God's religion, suffering from the vagaries of time, had frequently been distorted from its ...
