PARENTS ARE THE BEST TEACHER OF A CHILD SPEECH

Image
Say: "He is God, The One, The eternally besought of all. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him". Mr. President and worthy audience, the proposition that has been presented in the house is "PARENTS ARE THE BEST TEACHER OF A CHILD". A mere casual look on it compels me to regard it highly realistic and justified. Sir, more lovely and the most lovely child grows up under the loving care of his parents with no idea when light becomes in the morning and when it becomes dark in the evening. His heart is like a fine and clean mirror susceptible to all impressions. He is indeed a trust in the hands of the parents and they should assume and do it enthusiastically. Our Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said: It is a test; one who passes the test will be safe from hell. Mr. President, as a guardian, parent's foremost responsibility is to educate the children based on sound moral principles because the very great importanc...

CRAMMING (A HUMOROUS SPEECH)

Image
I believe that there is no need to work hard and constant study because the teachers cram the pupils very beautifully. Mr. President, devoted teachers and my classmates, it is in your knowledge and also in my knowledge that: "Ratalization is the best preparation for the examination." See it with your eyes! Is it a dogmatic or subversive activity to take the lead in the examination? The times are changed as just as the life loses all its shine. Those students were awe-inspiring while we are love-inspiring. They were bright and brilliant in studying their syllabus books with all useful material concerning the subjects, but we have complete liberty to read romantic and concocted stories. Eventually, what is lying in these syllabus books? That very bloody fighting events of ...

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER (in light of Islam) SPEECH

Image
Knowledge has been set forth in the Qur'an and the Hadith and can be acquired only by our own research and endeavors. Mr. President and gentlemen, the topic under discussion is "KNOWLEDGE IS POWER". It is an acknowledged fact that the training of the human minds is incomplete without knowledge and no individual is a human being in the proper sense unless he has equipped himself with the light of knowledge. Knowledge itself is power, says Francis Bacon; and those who are deprived of it, fail to make the best use of the rest of their powers. In Islam, knowledge has been turned as worship as it illuminates the inner self and wipes out all darkness. In acquisition of knowledge, man should melt himself like a candle otherwise he fails to recognize even God that He is the Creator...

PARADISE LIES UNDER THE FEET OF MOTHER SPEECH

Image
Allah is pleased when the mother is pleased Allah is displeased when the mother is displeased. I know a face, a lovely face  So full of beauty, as of grace  A face that cam compare no other  That face belongs to my mother! Mr. President and dear audience, mother is mother in whose lap we are born and no other love can take its place. Every hearth is filled with longing and passion for mother. Indeed, mother is a precious gift by Nature. We can earn paradise by serving out mother throughout her life. Islam hs the great esteem, honor and respect for mothers while thy father and thy mother without any discrimination. The Bible does not mention the mother separately fit to be the worthy of respect. In contrast, the Holy Quran gives supreme significance to the mother as she carries and nourishes her unborn baby for nine long months in her belly and shares a deep attachment with her. When she gives birth to a baby, is hers-totally and completely hers in a uni...

THE FIFTH PILLAR OF ISLAM SPEECH

Image
Hajj is a symbolic expression of man's full surrender before his Lord. Mr. President and worthy audience, the word "Hajj" means worshiping Allah by performing the Hajj rituals which are defined as specific acts performed at a specific time and place in a specific way. Performing Hajj is an obligation once in a lifetime upon every Muslim. The indigent and the sick or disabled are excused. Allah, the Almighty, says: وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ - 3:97 "Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah' those who can afford the journey: But if anyone denies faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures." Allah made Hajj an obligation to the Muslims in the ninth year after Hijrah. The Prophet ("Peace Be Upon Him") performed only the farewell Hajj. The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "The superstructure of Islam ...

A DAY OF FESTIVITY SPEECH

Image
A day of festivity (Eid-ul-Fitre) is an expression of unceasing feelings well up inside the believer's hearth for his Lord. Mr. President and worthy audience, we are all aware that Eid is the most memorable day of the year, and it is celebrated at the end of the holy month of Ramadan by the Muslim community with due reverence and great pomp and show. Eid-ul-Fitre means breaking of fast, in Arabic is the day of praying, donating to the deserving donees, feasting and rejoicing. Eid is derived from the Arabic word 'oud' or the return to signify rightly the return of Eid for the year to come. Fitre means to sacrifice for the welfare of the poor, the needy and those who are leading a humdrum sort of existence. We must be generous in helping the grieved people in order to receive its reward of mercy from Almighty Allah on the Day of Judgement. Sir, on the eve of Eid, all the markets stay open late at night and early hours of the morning to cater to people's need...

THE MONTH OF RAMADAN-UL-MUBARAK SPEECH

Image
Ramadan, a form of divine worship, awakens in man the feelings of gratitude to God. Mr. President and worthy audience, Ramadan is the ninth lunar month of the Islamic calendar and very auspicious to the Muslims all over the world. Our Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) used to start fasting during the month of Sha'baan-ul-Moazzam so as to make preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. During this month, the Muslims are ordained to observe fast for thirty days (sometimes 29 days, owing to the early sighting of the crescent). It is customary to break the fast with a sip of water, dates or some other fruits. The Holy Book of Muslims, Qur'an was revealed during this month. Our Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was chosen as Messenger to compile the Holy Book. The last ten days of Ramadan i.e. the nights preceding the 21st, 23rd, 25th , 27th and 29th are specially significant as the faithful watch for Laila-Tur-Qadar (The night of value), during which the revelation of t...
